A gem quality octahedral crystal embedded in a kimberlite matrix. This clear and transparent gemmy diamond measures 4 mm across and has been estimated to be nearly 1.5 carats. This kind of specimens appeared on the market during the era of the Soviet Union collapse and they were available for short time in early 90´s. Today it is mostly impossible to find a new diamond specimen coming out of Udychnaya pipe at far Eastern-Siberian Region.
