This hand-polished Cinnabar is a genuine collector's piece and not a standard tumbled stone. Carefully shaped by hand in our atelier, this unique specimen captivates with its intense, deep red color, which historically earned it the name "Dragon's Blood." The stone has been polished to a high gloss to emphasize its characteristic, almost metallic sheen.

Crucial Safety Warning: Cinnabar is a mercury mineral (HgS). Pure mercury sulfide is chemically stable and poorly soluble in its solid form. However, this is a natural mineral whose purity can never be guaranteed (traces of elemental mercury are possible). In consequence, the stone must fundamentally be classified and handled as highly toxic. It belongs in a closed display cabinet and must under no circumstances be used to prepare gem water or come into prolonged contact with the skin. Wash your hands after handling the stone. Don't eat, drink or smoke while handling the stone.
