Lithographic limestone shale with ornamental dendritic patterns has being drilled and set with Quartz clock movement and hanging attachment. Dendrite clock represent very nice and modern room accessory. Lithographic shales are up to day hand mined in numerous quarries around Eichstatt and Solnhofen in south of Bavaria.
