The arrangement of those prickly contorted strings of giant prismatic, striated and V-twinned crystals in clusters and the contrasting matrix gives this an aesthetic appeal of outstanding loveliness. The needles and blades of Dyscrasite range up to 3,7 cm long and up to 8 mm wide, the total weight of this specimen is over 2,8 Kg !
