The combination of the dark and dull martite (a hematite pseudomorph after magnetite), white quartz and bluish chalcedony matrix create a great contrast with perfect terminated, prismatic, translucent yellow-green Fluorapatite crystals. The biggest Fluorapatite crystal reach 2,3 cm. Fluorapatite crystals are a secondary mineral in this mexican iron deposit. Beautiful and very aesthetic specimen from Cerro de Mercado.
