Fluorapatite

Item number: MIN0087

Price: EUR 100.00

Quartz-chalcedony-martite matrix shows a great contrast with pretty yellow-green, gemmy with glassy luster, translucent crystals of Fluorapatite.  Some of post genetic tectonic activity at this Iron deposit documents the longitudinal fracture of one excellent gemmy Fluorapatite crystal. Hydrothermal activity can be seen by transition of quartz to light bluish chalcedony clumps. The best well terminated Fluorapatite crystal reachs 2,2 cm.

The Fluorapatite crystals are a secondary mineral in this Mexican iron deposit.
