This prismatic sighting compass features a rugged die-cast aluminum body and the heavy duty cover includes a glass window with an etched sighting line. The thermo-elastic liquid capsule prevents bubbles from forming. It also contains a floating dial with an lighting arrow. The glow-in-the-dark arrow on the dial points to magnetic North. There are 360° in a circle, which is equivalent to 6400 mils. These measurements are marked with a tick mark for every 5° (20 mils). A 0,3 mm observation slit is located above the sighting lens with the adjustable diopter. You can sight the objective by simultaneously observing the dial through the observation slit and the sighting line in the glass window. Centimeter and inch rulers are on the both side of the compass. The compass contains a built-in level that is mounted onto the base. The base of the compass can be screwed on a tri-pod. A convention chart for angles, gradients and distance is located on black plate. Comes with water resistant nylon pouch.
