“The castle on the rock” – the cute botryoidal snow white tower of Staffelite (a variety of Calcium-rich Fluorapatite) has been trapped between glass clean, colorless bubbly hyalite (variety of opal).  The fabulous scenery of those two minerals is based on the top of Rhyolitic tuff. The aggregate of Staffelite reach 5 mm in length. Coming out from classic location in Valeč, Doupov Mts., the Czech Republic.  Collected in 1982 when the locality used to be a strong guarded military zone.
