Moldavite cameo gold pendant
Mythical creatures awaken from the frozen green. Fairies emerge from the green darkness of the forest, show their delicate faces and immediately disappear again into the undergrowth. Mermaids briefly appear on the surface of the water and then disappear again into the deep blue. Enchanted goblins peer out from under the rough surface of the moldavite as if from a ruffled shock of hair and are no longer visible – or has our imagination played a trick on us? Some bibliophiles claim to have recognized the figures from Ottfried Preussler's “The Little Water Sprite” – there are no limits to the imagination!
These stone forest, mountain and water spirits are a centuries-old specialty of Bohemian moldavite artists. Only rarely do we humans get to see the shy creatures from Rübezahl's realm – here in a particularly beautiful form. Be enchanted by the combination of shiny gold and shimmering green moldavite!
