Moldavit tumbled? Better: polished by hand
We cut and polish Moldavite by hand, so strictly speaking they are not Moldavite tumbled stones. You wouldn't put your valuable clothes in the washing machine either.
Typical of Moldavite, in addition to its green color, is the wild surface, which bears witness to a melt that solidified millions of years ago and subsequent weathering. The smooth polished surface not only makes the stone more supple, but also reveals the energy-laden process of its creation. The glass-clear polished green allows the hidden melt bubbles to emerge clearly: a snapshot of a million-year-old melting process.
The Moldavite, which is hand polished all around, is not only appreciated for visual reasons, it also feels extremely pleasant on the skin.
